Bring Your Kids to Barichara for this World School Program

We are excited to share that our regenerative school for children Sueños del Bosque is offering its first program for traveling families who want to immerse their kids in the local culture and ecology of Barichara, Colombia.

World School is a practice of welcoming nomadic families to join a local school for short periods of time. These families are often homeschooling their kids and in search of social connection along with cultural immersion. We want people to be able to experience first-hand what regenerative education is like by hosting regular programs like the one that we are launching from June 23rd to July 4th -- during a period of time when all of the public schools in Colombia are on break.

Part of the thinking here is that World School families can afford to pay more for high-quality learning opportunities for their kids. This enables us to make these opportunities available at little or no cost for local families. We have a sliding scale that reflects this thinking.

Local families pay 100.000 COP which is roughly $25 US per week (and they can request a work exchange if they don't have money). Families in other parts of Colombia pay double this amount. And families from all over the world pay more to help make this cost-effective to manage. The typical cost for learning opportunities like this in the United States, Canada, or Europe would be much higher so this is a reasonable price for foreigners to expect.

If you have friends who might want to travel in Colombia with their children, this is a great way to do it! Please share the link with them.

Hope to see some of you there.

Thanks,

Joe
