These are the closing remarks offered to the families of Sueños del Bosque by Anamaría Guerra Forero as we completed our first semester together on August 2nd, 2024. (Original Spanish version below)
Dear Sueños del Bosque Families,
Today I feel grateful, moved, convinced and inspired by the process we have been going through here in this territory together. Walking here in this territory together. Seeing my seeds grow, our seeds in a natural, creative environment, cared for lovingly, respectfully and consciously with the
essence of each and every one of us, fills me with gratitude and a great desire to continue listening to our children, our children's children, our children's grandchildren, our children's great grandchildren. To continue listening to our sons, our daughters, the territory, and to ourselves, in the sense of believing that we can ourselves, in the sense of believing that different forms of upbringing in conscience are possible. That the seed of the school is getting stronger because here among families, among diverse hearts, we believe and create in communion. We believe and create in communion, in community.
Sueños del Bosque at this time has been filled with a higher spirit that is no longer individual but collective.
I am grateful for the trust that the families have placed in us, with us, I am grateful to the boys and girls who have chosen us in their lives, I am grateful to our team, to those hearts that have been mobilized from different territories and that this territory of Barichara has called us together, has brought us all together for something very important.
I trust in the light that has guided this journey from within. I trust in you families. I trust in our seeds, in your freedom to be, to express yourselves. I trust in the fertility of this territory. I trust in those guardians that sustain us, I trust that what is being sown here will last in time.

Queridas familias de Sueños del Bosque,
Hoy me siento agradecida, conmovida, convencida e inspirada por el proceso que venimos caminando acá en este territorio juntos y juntas. Ver crecer mis semillas, nuestras semillas en un entorno natural, creativo, cuidado amorosa, respetuosa y conscientemente con la esencia de cada uno y de cada una, me llena de gratitud y de muchas ganas de seguir escuchando a nuestros hijos, a nuestras hijas, al territorio, y a nosotros mismos y nosotras mismas, en el sentido de creer que distintas formas de crianza en conciencia son posibles. Que la semilla de Escuela se va fortaleciendo porque acá entre familias, entre corazones diversos creemos y creamos en comunión, en comunidad.
Sueños del Bosque en este tiempo se ha llenado de un espíritu superior que deja de ser individual para ser colectivo.
Agradezco la confianza que las familias han tenido con nosotras, con nosotros, agradezco a los niños y a las niñas que nos han elegido en su vida, agradezco nuestro equipo, esos corazones que se han movilizado de distintos territorios y que este nuestro territorio de Barichara nos ha convocado, nos ha juntado a todos y a todas para algo muy importante.
Confío en la luz que ha guiado este caminar desde el interior, confío en ustedes familias, confío en nuestras semillas, en su libertad de ser, de expresarse, confío en la fertilidad de este territorio. Confío en esos guardianes que nos sostienen, confío que lo que se está sembrando aquí perdurará en el tiempo.
